The reason that the Hitler Youth and League of German Girls was created was because Hitler wanted young people to be supportive of his doings. Some kids naturally agreed with the way Hitler thought because what he did before the Jews was alright, but he still forced every child between the age of 10-18 to join.
The Nazi’s main ideology was the Leadership Principle, the Volk, and Anti-Semitism. The Leadership Principle stated they “wanted a society in which a person’s position was decided by his or her physical abilities and not by wealth, intellectualism, or his or her parents’ positions” (Keeley). The Volk Community was basically being a member of a superior race of people. The Nazis decided that race and community shouldn’t be determined by borders, it should be determined by people and blood. The community was really where ever any pure blood Germans were located. Anti-Semitism was the idea that the greatest threat was the Jews and to hate them. The Jews were presented as evil people who would pollute the Nordic race (Keeley).
